Sarah Kam

Sarah is a public policy advisor with over five years of experience in government advisory roles and human capital development. She began her career supporting the Tony Blair Institute’s work with Burkina Faso’s Presidential Delivery Unit as a Sectoral Analyst, focusing on health. She later served as an Advisor on Human Capital Development, where she successfully lobbied for the inclusion of gender-specific initiatives in Burkina Faso’s Human Capital Development Strategy (2020–2025).

Sarah’s holds an LLM in International Law from University College London, a BA in Political Science and Human Rights from St. Thomas University in Canada, and dual Master’s degrees in Public Policy (MPP) and Public Policy Research (MSc) from the University of Oxford. During her studies, Sarah developed a strong interest in agriculture’s role in youth employment, producing a policy report titled, “Creating Jobs and Sustaining Food Security in the Sahel by Engaging Youth in Agriculture.”

Her dedication to youth employment and skills development has driven her to support several organizations delivering impactful projects across three West African countries.
